TimeTEQ's unique ESS kiosk software application works in conjunction with the Panel PC to provide a time data-collection and information-delivery solution that takes the concept of Workforce Management to an unsurpassed level.

The TimeTEQ clocks are unique in that they use an embedded web server to enable access and maintenance on the unit via any device using standard Internet Browser Technology. The clocks adopt the most widely used communication protocol, TCP/IP and multiple devices in various locations can be easily networked and synchronised through an Intranet or the Internet.

Unlike most other time clocks, no separate software is required to allow access to and maintenance of the device in local or remote locations. In a multi-site environment, this equates to significant long-term cost of ownership benefits that should not be overlooked. In simple terms, User enrollments, updates, administration and data transfer from multiple sites can all be easily managed from one central location.

The clocks are available a number of configurations including:

• Biometric fingerprint
• Smartcard or HID Card

The Digital Persona fingerprint reader is designed for use with the TimeTEQ ESS Kiosk. Since the reader uses the USB communication protocol, it can be connected to any Windows* based Point of Sale terminal or Computer. (* Does not work with Windows 98 or NT)

The TimeTEQ kiosk application comes standard with a floating icon that sits over the top of any open application. The user simply touches or clicks the icon and the logging screen appears. When the employee performs a function such as start or end work the application automatically closes and returns to the screen for normal operation.

The combination of a fingerprint reader with the Digital Persona Identity engine and TimeTEQ ESS Kiosk provides an unmatched ability to recognise even the most difficult fingerprints.

TeleClock is a Telephone Interactive Voice Response system that works hand-in-hand with TimeTEQ allowing employees to clock their start and end as well as break times from their place of work using a touch-tone telephone as their time clock.

TeleClock offer an in-house or pay as you go 1800 hosted solution for employees to clock via landline or mobile phone. In-house installations are typically deployed in industries such as hotels or hospitals that wish to use their on premise PABX telephone system and so do not incur any outside call costs.

Organisations that prefer to use a1800 hosted service typically have employees who do not attend a regular place of work where a time clocking device may be permanently located. These organisations have remote workers that attend a number of different locations throughout their day or week but that are still hourly paid and are required to maintain accurate and verified time sheets. Industries such as aged community and disability care, transport logistics, building services and contract cleaning would generally fall into this category.

TeleClock also offer One-Time-Password (OTP) tokens to further increase the security and accuracy of employees using the TeleClock system. These OTP tokens display a constantly renewing security code which is validated against a security key stored on the TeleClock IVR server.

The TeleClock OTP Token offers the employer two invaluable benefits :

• Verifies the identity of an employee clocking in from a fixed line telephone.
  After entering their employee code the employee is prompted to also enter their token passcode. The validity of this entered passcode is checked and the employee can gain no further access if the passcode is invalid.

These OTP token passcodes are only valid for 5 minutes, cannot be reused and cannot be used once a subsequent passcode has been entered.
